How do I properly clean a silver soap dish? - green dish soap

I have a soap dish made of silver to one of my grandparents, I disappeared a bit of soap in the soap and the soil has several shades of pink, from left, blue and green. What can I use to solve the problem?

If it stains pink green and blue, it could mean that the shell is covered copper. The chemicals in the soap reacts with the metal (s) due to corrosion. Try it with a commercial silver cleaner with a soft cloth. It may take some elbow grease, and probably a few places, but it is likely that some improvements in this direction.
